Although I am able to access my cpanel account, I am unable to publish my webpages. Ashoat
mind if i ask what the problem was?I accidentally set the account creation daemon to run during the Apache restart, which caused problems due to the modification of accounts while they were being parsed. Schiel
It appears as thought it's down again. My site is up but I cannot log into the cpanel from http://<name>.heliohost.org/cpanel or Heliohost Homepage. I'm glad that my site CMS is totally handled with SILEX (an in-browser flash WYSIWYG editor) so that I can still update my viewable content! Schiel
Resolved with this post. Odd because I've never had an issue before with using heliohost.org homepage to login.
dppas
my dppas.heliohost.org is again out of reach. As I understand there were some new problems. Still, please confirm that my account will be activated one day. Best regards, dppas
Programer OZ
I LOVE THIS HOST! You know you guys are awesome for a 3 people team! I understand how annoying it can be to have people yell at you (i once hosted a online game server) and it is not fun at all! You guys are the best! Anyone who complains about the down times go ahead and try to find a better host! you wont! Question: Why is this called Heliohost? what is helio? Ashoat
It's just a name I made up. Helios is the Greek sun god. As for the latest downtime: sorry, guys. I was on vacation and my uptime monitor didn't catch it because it was just a httpd.conf misconfiguration.
Olive
Is everything supposed to be back up and working now? I'm just curious because I can access my website but not my cpanel. I don't mind waiting I just didn't see that it was a clear 'it's all fixed now' from previous posts. It says it's unable to establish a connection with Stevie. Ah, disregard. I should read more.
