One Sock Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I want to put an email contact form on my website. I look at a script like FormMail on Matt's Script Archive, and I see fields for stuff like Recipient and Subject, etc etc, but the one field I DON'T see is the one for the actual message. Where is it? It would seem rather pointless to have an email contact form in which one can't type a message...
Byron Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Upload this and make sure you change the email address to yours and give it a php extension. http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/temp/email_form.txt Looks like this: http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/temp/email_form.php
alteisenriese Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 i've tried many of email scripts but none of them working properly, i mean the messages always got into the spam folder. Do you know how to avoid this thing?
Byron Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 That usually doesn't have anything to do with your script. It has to do with your email provider. If somebody reports spam coming from heliohost to yahoo than yahoo starts sending it to your spam folder. I checked that email form earlier today and it went straight to my inbox at gmail.
One Sock Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 OK byron, I will see what I can do with that. Thanks...
