chrisc Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 so thats how you got FF on the comps Ali go fire fox
lappy512 Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I had to figure out where our proxy was, since it wasn't a "invisible" proxy, and I couldn't find it through MSIE's settings, since they blocked that menu. And they blocked the web for any computer except for the proxy.
stan92 Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 Hey Ali, It's me Stan, anyways how do you get your Portable Firefox? I looked for it in the Firefox site place and I couldn't find it... Or do you get it from a different site???
nehe32 Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 i probably would do this although the don't allow people to install software, and because the USB/pen drive has to install a program i may get snapped although i would want to do it as FireFox RULES
eTronicGaming Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Me and my friend in eCommerce use FireFox secretly... I mean come on, after Internet Explorer caused my well, IE to crash while taking an online test and having to restart it, I got so pissed. "Heck, I'm getting ff i don't care"
nehe32 Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 i might try and somehow get it onto the system, then...then i can so hack the school/not
yellowjacket Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 why would a school be anti-firefox? its better than ie
Vanarith Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I like portable opera better. it's here http://www.obermair.net/opera/operausben.htm
tuwawah Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Has anyone tried SlimBrowser? It has the tabbed style and such, but it also allows you to use your msn.com or hotmail.com without a problem, where I have trouble accessing my msn.com or hotmail.com and being able to use everything properly. Pretty good, but not as big of a following as either Opera or FF
1337 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Portable Firefox here. Just run the self extracting EXE and extract it to your USB drive. Copy over your profile folder if you wish to use the same settings as your home computer.
