Ashoat Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 You guys now have to submit a support request to get an SSL certificate installed on your domain, as it looks like trying it yourself will down the server. Thanks.
Ashoat Posted August 24, 2009 Author Posted August 24, 2009 On a more positive note, the server itself (not necessarily Apache, though) has been up for more than 8 days now, which is the longest it's been up for a couple of months.
Ashoat Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 SSL installation has been re-enabled. Also, we're almost at two weeks straight server uptime now.
Bill Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 YES!!! Uptime!!! I know that this is a bit off topic but couldn't you like at the end of every 2 months or so take stevie down (So he won't display web pages etc) to delete inactive cpanel accounts.. You could delete thousands every hour.
Ashoat Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 No, I really couldn't. I would only be able to delete maybe forty an hour. That's only around one thousand deleted accounts per day. I'd rather just wait it out.
Bill Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 But if you did it on automatic stevie would delete thousands with him doing nothing else
Ashoat Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 Trust me on this. I know Stevie's capacity. The reason we're not deleting faster is not because the web server is taking too much resources.
Bill Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Ok djbob, you know best, but I could click delete over a thousand times an hour, I use a pentium 4!
Ashoat Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 It usually takes at least a minute of processor time to delete one account. Taking the web server down would only give us more processor time, and we have enough of that already.
Itesscap73 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Id buy windows server something new to me. Cool that cPanel is doing so great.
