Addon Domain Error

Hi I've registered a .com domain with name.com and I've pointed it's name servers to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org. I was trying to add an Addon domain to use my .com domain but I got this error

 

Error from domain wrapper: Bind reloading on stevie using rndc zone: [phyte.heliohost.org]

 

I know that it can take up to 48 hours for DNS to cycle through but is this isn't the same error others were getting. Should i just wait it out or is there something else I'm missing.

If you were able to successfully create your addon domain at cPanel without any problems and you've got the correct name servers set up than just give it some time.

I wasn't able to create an addon domain from cpannel. That's the problem. Still isn't working 24 hours later. I googled the problem and it seems to be a server admin issue.

Go back to your cpanel and try to create you addon domain again. This is how the forms should be filled in. Let's say your domain name is this:

 

alphaomega.uni.cc

 

this is how the forms should look at cpanel

 

New Domain Name: alphaomega.uni.cc

 

Subdomain/Ftp Username: alphaomega

 

Document Root: public_html/alphaomega

where you might be getting the error is when cpanel automatically adds the Document Foot form it keeps the complete domain name, you need to delete the uni.cc and only leave the alphaomega. Did you do that?
