phpbb3 installation

I am uploading phpbb3 forum on my site using MySQL, for this I am not sure about the following information, please help:

 

1) Database Type:

 

a)MySQL with MySQLi Extension

b)MySQL

c)SQLite

 

Out of the above three, what should I select?

 

2) what is Database server hostname or DSN ?

 

3) As we move further it asks for administration user name, Can it be different than database user name?

For the steps 1 & 2, values I entered:

 

1)SQLite

2)www.heliohost.org

 

I was able to get through the installation process but got the following error at the end.

 

General Error

SQL ERROR [ sqlite ]

 

SQL logic error or missing database [1]

 

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

I know you should probably use a)MySQL with MySQLi Extension

What about Data source name/database host name?

1. MySQL or MySQL with MySQLi Extension would both work but i recomend the one with extension

2. Localhost

3. Yeah that is possible, i dont have a accaunt at heliohost but in cPanel at x10hosting (sucks BTW) you have to make a connection between a user and a database.
