Change forum server!

I made a post here, http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=3850 I think it would be better (and people would be less upset) if we had the forum on another server so we all know whats going on...

Yes, I agree that it has come to a point where djbob should look into having the forum server on one of his friends' servers. Even though I don't think the forum is doing that much on the server, I think it would lessen the problem if something happens.

It would be pretty nice to have the forums still up to discuss the problem while HelioHost servers are down; I agree as well.

Haha it has. One suggestion: We could even use a new kind of forum.

I use Simple Machine Forum on my other website (http://simplemachines.org/), and it is very good.

 

It would probably be a big bother to Change it though.

Not really. SMF has converters for many different types of forum software. Although it kinda would be a waste of money to buy Invasion Power Board and then have to switch back.

If you want to spend money i think vBulliten would be a better option. The interface is a lot better, although it is probably more expensive...
