Will there be enough space?

Hai,

 

I'm doing a Final Fantasy 7 Fansite.

 

I'm dividing my site into 3 Parts...

 

OEKAKI - MAIN - FORUMS

 

Main: The Whole Website, will be enough space, along with images.

Forums: My Forums, not sure, but still there will be enough space.

Oekaki: I'm not really sure about this, as my members will draw, and space will increase.

 

So the question is, Will there be enough space for my Oekaki Board?

 

and another: I have a pirated version of IPB2.3.0, and NextBBS, which software should I use as my forums?

 

IPB is like..so aewsome..

NextBBS.. I have'nt installed or tested it yet.

As I'm sure you know, piracy is against the law, so you should use the second one. But If you want to use IPB, go ahead, I can't stop you. I'm not the Admin

 

For my forum needs I use services like PunBB and PhpBB. Just putting them here if you want to check it out.

Why don't you just use invisionfree? IPB board that won't eat your bandwidth.

You can use phpBB or myBB as a free alternative. If you really like IPB, then I guess you have to save up and buy the legal version.

I'm 13, so I can't save up to $149.99 to buy a whole IPB Board.

 

I have my own views on the others.

 

PHPBB: Its good, but too many system/mysql errors

MyBB: I personally hate the design.

PunBB: I love it.. but.. I dont know why I dont want to use it.

 

NextBB: Im kinda hating it, although I have'nt touched it.

 

I'll try going with PunBB

You can use different themes and everything should then be fine

If you would like to try other forums out, try going to http://www.opensourcecms.com and find a good software that fits your needs.

I think vBulliten is good. I had an... illegal version at one stage. but be careful. if someone finds out it is illegal, they can report it and you can get in trouble. Someone did that to me and I had to remove it before they had a look!

Well, depending on how much space you already used up, there should be enough space for your forums.

 

You seem like you have been creating boards/forums for a while now and see why you want to upgrade to host it all yourself with PHP. GetForum.com is pretty good though, it has no Ads and I'm pretty sure they remove the copyright link now that shows you have a free forum.
