Cant find Avater less than 6kb and 80 x 80

Hi all, i am new to this forum so please bare with me if i am doing something wrong. I have a guild website for WOW BL. I am trying to get an avatar or make an avatar and i have absolutely no art skills. I was also hoping to get an idea for a banner for our guild site for "some assembly required" Any help would really be appreciated.

Use Microsoft Paint?

To make it small (~6kb), save it under .png or .gif.

Yeah, I believe gimp has something that you can save it real small. You might also be able to use ifranview to shrink it. Anyway, look at my avatar and see if you want to heed my advice. That's what I was able to make in gimp...(it sucks, but at least it's not really, really bad)

Find an image compressor in Google, or HelioHost actually can do it for you.
