Koen Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 what should I do to achieve an autobackup of my Sql database. can anyone give me a script to do this job.
Koen Posted August 9, 2008 Author Posted August 9, 2008 Apparently nobody knows the answer to my question. I'm very busy trying to find the answer. In my quest to the solution I bumped into a knew problem. The standard pad for the instruction mysqldump gives an error "/usr/local/bin/mysqldump: No such file or directory" Can anybody giv me the right pad to "mysqldump"? Does anyone also knows the pad to the data of mysql database?
Ashoat Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 You won't be able to access that your MySQL database through the path. Try any one of these: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz...script+php+cron. PS: Note that we allow a maximum of two crons, each running daily. Also note that if your backup script starts taking too much server resources, we might suspend your account.
Koen Posted August 10, 2008 Author Posted August 10, 2008 OK. Done. One cronjob a day will run, do you want me to let it happen on a specifique hour? (PLease mention your timezone) Great hostingservice by the way! Thanx
