Coriolis Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Last I checked, it's confoundedly difficult to eat muffins when you're dead.
manish_kvs Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 I feel that life is no better than a puzzle. We are born, live and finally die and reborn.(I believe in rebirth). I think that every living can be classified into three dimensions: the animals, the men and the saints. We, the men are stuck in between. We are fascinated by both the worlds. The animal world promises us the freedom, happiness whereas the saint world seems to be complete. Most of us silently pass in our own dimension which is nothing but a circle. After it is complete, we find ourselves at the starting point. Some of us have the eyes to see these worlds. Such people move towards them and are able to make through the puzzle of life.

Wizard Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 This needs to not turn into a flame war. Play nice or I'll close the thread.
jneves4pt Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 People live to have fun (or other things...) but after having fun we get bored, so we will want funnier stuff until it ends and we get sad or bored again. People can be happy but not for always. So for me the meaning of life is to have a little fun sometimes, not too much, because the more fun you have the more bored you will be.
Brother Hassan Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I guess everyone has there own answer to this question ... For me it would be to worship God
mikenyc Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 hehe. Eternal question And the answer is..... HAPPINESS for some it is worshiping God, for some it`s partying, makin` money, LOVE, crafts making, making art ( hello, hobby photograph here )... and for some it is just to make others happy, to me, that is the best feeling, when I make someone smile, but TRULY smile and be happy, because of what I said or did
zyra Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 There is no meaning. Life started randomly, when some chemicals made bacteria in a pool. Life just happens.
bute2487 Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 There is no meaning. Life started randomly, when some chemicals made bacteria in a pool. Life just happens. You probably won't accept it and you probably won't even like me for saying it (for those are the common reactions) but happiness is to know who you really really are. And that is 24/7. Just be honest with the answer to the question in this short video riddle (and I mean really really answer it with as much honesty as you can muster). Â Â
mikenyc Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Yep, the ONE question. WHO ARE YOU.. what you like, why aren`t you doing what you like, why are you miserable, why do you make fun of other people ( it often not as they say 'just for laughter' but it has a root deep down in you ) Fund yourself, you will find happines, find happines and you will find meaning of life !!! (btw I`m not advertising anything, nor I`m any kind of psychologist, so dont take my word for granted )

Thers is no need to be any kind of "ist" so certainly no requirements for psychologists although they may play their part in the fun. Well done mikenyc I think you got it spot on!!!
i7Grendel Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 The ultimate goal of an individual is happiness (so kudos to mikenyc). This may be achieved through wealth (unlikely), love and friendship (likely) or power (unlikely). The odd thing about it is: the harder you work to find it, the less likely it is you're going to find it. That's why you shouldn't pursue it, but just savor the moment. Enjoy life. Enjoy friends. Enjoy love. Enjoy. ---dramatic pause---
Thunderwolf Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 One can say that the more you learn and think about things, the more you realize you don't actually know that much. Would that mean that one leading a simple life will simply be happier in life? Seems so...
