An awesome series. The great thing about this show is that every member of the cast is so amazingly awesome, especially the Janitor. Anyone else love this show?

I watch because its funny, but also because I aspire to become a doctor. If we look at these cases, we can just hope to be a doctor and not another kind.

That's true. I'm not completely sure if I wish to be a doctor or not, but this show gives some insight into how it would be (comedy aside, of course).

I have watched a few episodes of the series, but I didn't like it that much. I don't think comedy and hospitals are a good match, and I'm already watching another series about hospital 'stories' and doctors anyway.

For many people series like these 'encourage' them to become doctors, but... Ahem... When I see that... I don't think I'd be a good doctor...

If you think about the pain that doctors have to deal with every single day, you have to feel sorry for them. So many patients come in and die...

I always felt that the show DISCOURAGED you from wanting to become a doctor. The pain they must go through each week is testament to that.

Hmm... there was never a discouragement, in fact, watching this actually makes me WANT to become a doctor...

My brother is already becoming one...

I think the show is great. I wouldn't have watched it unless my gf turned it on one day and made me watch it, but I turned out to like it...lol :)

My Uncle is a heart surgeon in Houston, and he says a lot of doctors use humor to distance themselves from the emotion of losing patients and the general atmosphere of the hospital.

But I LOVE scrubs.

It is one of the few shows besides the History, Military, and Discovery channels that I watch.

Heart surgeon? That must be a tough job...
