qsgt Posted June 29, 2014 Share Posted June 29, 2014 Hi, I am trying to run a copy of simple invoices on my account the I installed though softaculous but I keep getting an error message saying: ===========================================Simple Invoices database connection problem=========================================== Could not connect to the Simple Invoices database For information on how to fix this pease refer to the following database error: --> SQLSTATE[42000] [1203] User qsgt_inv already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections Anybody know why this is happening and how to stop it? Ice IT Support Posted July 1, 2014 Share Posted July 1, 2014 It appears that Simple Invoices has encountered this issue many times and currently has not been resolved. (See https://code.google.com/p/simpleinvoices/issues/detail?id=244&q=max_user_connections and https://code.google.com/p/simpleinvoices/issues/detail?id=197&q=max_user_connections) Most likely the software is making multiple connections to MySQL and/or not closing the connections at the end of the script. Only one MySQL connection is needed. My suggestion would be to find free MySQL hosting with a higher (or no) connection limit.
