Open Source or Closed Source

some things like php scripts have a hard time being closed source, so most are kept open source... just a thoughtful note, just thought of it.

 

yah, i also think it depends. with everything open source, the software market would literally collapse. you need a balance.

Depends, so many things such as security holes, program stealing, so forth that makes me not to touch apon open source, but I still do anyway =) Just not something major though...

Besides games and photoshop, open source is best! open source allows the community to develop something, which provides great incentives and therefore, progress in developing, fixing, and improving a program are much faster than if done by a corporate group.
