andrew57 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 I got an e-mail saying "Your hosting account at HelioHost has been suspended for inactivity." on my johnny account.I have been trying to port majoirty of my websites to Stevie for last few months, but the problem is that Johnny is down whenever I try to get on.Just right now, I went online and successfully reactivated my account, and of course the server is down again.Last month, Johnny was down for at least a whole week. Server inconsistancies like this makes it very easy for users to build up inactive days. Therefore, I propose that Johnny's inactivity threshold be extended to 90 days. Quote
Shinryuu Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 It's online, just nearing the "keel-over-and-die" threshold of ~40% load. 90 days is way too long and would actually cause more instability as idle accounts would waste resources even longer. If Johnny keeps having these brownouts and blackouts I'm sure we'll extend the inactivity period again, as we did for last month expanding the cutoff till the first of this month. Theoretically people inactive since sept 20+ had a week and a half of leeway. EDIT: and now it's under 20% load, should be better now. Quote
