Django Not Working: 500 Internal Service Error

Hello,

 

I'm trying to setup my new django powered website but I'm running into the SAME issues as the ones mentioned in this post.

By the way, I have followed all the guidlines mentioned in the Heliohost site.

 

My error message is:

Internal Server Error

 

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@leolanchas.com.ar and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

 

 

I would greatly appreciate if some one could help me with this!

Which server are you on? Johnny seems to be having issues right now (at least for me), check the main page at heliohost.org at the very bottom where the server statuses are shown.

I'm on Johnny too and I'm also having issues. In fact, I can't reach my web neither log in to cpanel because of an error 500. However, what I mentioned in the first post has nothing to do with Johnny status. I've not been able to get my (django powered) web to run though I have followed the instructions.

I also got the 500 Internal Server Error today, and have just checked Johnny's status (thanks bayparkm) which is currently down - so it seems there are still unresolved issues...

I still have the same issues. Anyone knows anything?

I had the same problem on Tommy. It was caused by a problem with cPanel and Ruby. It was solved by Krydos.
