stu Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Forget Joey. A prenup can be a girl's best friend. Matt LeBlanc's soon-to-be ex-wife, Melissa, has waived her right to spousal support, settling for a cash payment she received under the terms of the prenuptial agreement she entered into with the Friends star a month before the two tied the knot in 2003, according to court documents filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Their divorce will be final Oct. 6 Calling LeBlanc a "high-wage earner," however, the court ordered the actor to fork over $15,000 a month in child support for the couple's two-year-old daughter, Marina, and ruled that Dad was 100 percent responsible for any future private school tuition, uninsured medical expenses, nanny services and Marina's college fund. Melissa LeBlanc (nee McKnight) also has two children from a previous marriage. She and her almost-ex will share joint physical and legal custody of Marina. LeBlanc filed for divorce in March, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the "amicable" split. Once upon a time he and Melissa got hitched in Hawaii, after a five-year engagement, in front of family, friends and Friends such as Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox Arquette and Lisa Kudrow. While LeBlanc and his wife appear to be going their separate ways on good terms, not all of the ladies who have crossed the 39-year-old actor's path are quite as satisfied. A stripper whom LeBlanc dished about in a 2005 National Enquirer article sued him for defamation last month, alleging he made false statements about just how close of an encounter the two had. "The stripper was all over me" at the club, LeBlanc told the tabloid. Stephanie Stevens, who was never mentioned by name in the story, begged to differ, however. Stevens stated that she never gave LeBlanc a lap dance or acted aggressively toward him?at her place of business. Instead, she is maintaining that the TV star was just trying to deflect attention from the potentially most scandalous part of the story--that, per her lawsuit, "all sexual contact between [them] took place in the privacy of [stephens'] residence." http://news.yahoo.com/s/eo/20060921/en_cel...HE0BHNlYwN0bWE-
