You block hotmail when registering a hosting account because hotmail considers your messages as spam, so I had to use my secondary address, on gmail. FYI gmail considers your messages as spam too. So maybe you should block it too, and also, maybe you should block 99% of the e-mail providers. I'm joking but seriously, you should allow hotmail, people just have to look in their spam folder, just like I had to do on gmail... Now I'm registered on an e-mail address that I never look at, which kinda sucks a bit for communications.

HelioHost is not responsible for their messages being marked as spam, gmail and hotmail are responsible for this. However, you can mark these messages as not spam.

I know that. I'm just saying that you should not disallow hotmail addresses. Users just have to mark these messages as not spam. Like you said, it's not your responsability, so don't disallow hotmail.

Hotmail, unlike Gmail, often does not even let these sort of messages reach the spam folder. Therefore, Hotmail would result in people never getting emails from Heliohost anywhere.
