Ashoat Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 We're running a memory test to see if that is the root of recent problems with domain changes and sign-ups. Should be up within 12 hours or so.
Guest xaav Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Djbob: the reason that httpd didn't come back up was: httpd: bad user name assem
Ashoat Posted December 28, 2011 Author Posted December 28, 2011 It would seem that it's back now? I suppose you ran heliohost_nightly?
Guest xaav Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Yes, because I manually removed that user from the apache configuration. Running heliohost_nightly wouldn't have solved anything, since the apache_monitor script has already done that many times by now. Also, I useradded that user so that this problem won't occur again. Also, the cPanel errors are not solved.
Ashoat Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 cPanel people are still coming up with shitty attempts at fixing the issues. Hopefully they'll actually take a serious look soon enough, but for now they want us to run upcp...
