Can any one explain how to configure linux apache mysql php(LAMP )

in linux mint.

when i tried the steps in Lamp lamphowto.com i can get it working.

 

 

 

if any one can suggest any program like wamp in windows in linux it would be good

Maybe you can try http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-linux.html]XAMPP[/url]

The steps on how to install it are explained there.

 

it's similar like Wamp, but you get more features (Tomcat, ect...) and the interface if better (my opinion).

You just need to start the services you need (in windows, don't know for linux) and you can control them in localhost page.

I've heard of XAMPP more often than LAMP. I've been using WAMP for a while and it's the easiest setup i've had.

 

Any specific problem you have?

I didn't had any problems installing or running both programs.

WAMP is very basic and easy to use. XAMPP has more features, but it pretty simple too.
