xwinuser Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Can you share or point me to where you state some of your server specs? RAM,CPU,UPS, RAID 0,3,5, etc.? What virtual machine software do you use? Do you do load balancing? This has nothing to do with HelioHost performance. I'm just a specs geek. I did ask in the "feed back" section what you thought would help the servers be more stable but I am not asking for that reason here. May sound weird but true.
xwinuser Posted November 30, 2011 Author Posted November 30, 2011 Well some admin type person did tell me you have a 100mbps connection at a colo. That indicates that you are fairly current on technology and probably processing power as well. Good to know. I can imagine the rest I guess.
Wizard Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I don't think any of us have the specs memorized. If you search around, you can find them in old admin posts, though. 1
maths222 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I don't know if this works because my account is down, however, you can try uploading and running this script: http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpsysinfo/files/phpsysinfo/. 1
maths222 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I put it up on my site: http://hprobotics.co.cc/phpsysinfo/index.php?disp=static. I don't know why the mounted disk part is blank (it probably has to do with permissions).
Guest xaav Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 That's weird; Piotr GRD is able to get the mounts without root access.
maths222 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Try this to see what is happening: go to http://hprobotics.co.cc/phpsysinfo/index.php?disp=dynamic (dynamic did not used to work, but it now does). Click the red /!\. That way you can see the error.
