Britt Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Hi! I'm new to the forums as well as website management in general. I've been playing around with building my website for a few days now and I just can't seem to figure out how things work. I am trying to get a Simpleviewer gallery to work on my website. I know I have to upload the gallery through FTP (which I did), and I came up with this link: http://www.brittanyandersonphoto.heliohost...hoto/dolls.html. It says simpleviewer at the top of the page, but it doesn't load anything. I really need help getting this to work. Thanks!
Britt Posted September 29, 2011 Author Posted September 29, 2011 What exactly are you trying to display? I am trying to create a gallery using the Simpleviewer program (http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/)
Byron Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Just looking at your page and the source, I see that your missing this file: http://www.brittanyandersonphoto.heliohost...simpleviewer.js Once you start to load that file maybe that will correct your problem. If not they have a support forum that can help your with thier application: http://www.simpleviewer.net/simpleviewer/support/
Tjoene Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Maybe this would be for you: http://www.cooliris.com/yoursite/express/builder/ You can create a 3D picture wall, slideshow, ect... by using pictures from your Flickr, Picasa, YouTube, Facebook or Media RSS. It's easy to use and easy to modify. (If you want to change the size: you will find the width and height attribute twice in the code, change both!)
Britt Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 byron: I have the file uploaded but it's in a folder with all of the other files. Should I pull that particular file out? Tjoene: Thanks! If this doesn't work out, I'll give cooliris a try!

You need ALL of those files for that particular application to work. You might want to just start over and upload that zip file again and then unzip it and read the readme.html file that comes with the application. If you don't like the name of the folder that it opens up, then just rename the folder and that will keep you from having to move all of the files to a new location.

I think this is just a little over my head. Thanks though
