I have the same issue, which seemed to start a few days ago. When I manually type the URL to my index file I get the file working properly, but when I enter simply the domain url I get the same page. This is not a domain I recently signed up for, and it has worked properly in the past.

I am a ruby newbie and apologize if I am asking an obvious question, but does anyone know why I can't get Ruby on rails working? I followed the instructions on heliohost.org under ruby, and then I made an app in the ruby on rails panel in cpanel. When I click start, however, it says it is started then returns to the ruby on rails page and tells me it has not started. When I visit the URL that should, in theory, refer to the list view of the item controller (sprout.heliohost.org/Item/list) the resource is not found.
