As far as I can tell, they had very little time to test Vista out for themselves. During my experience with Windows, it's always fast and works properly right after a fresh installation, the problems come when I start installing new software or hardwares. Did you mean to say "I don't see why more people don't use WLM"? If you count everyone that posted in this thread, most of us do use WLM when using Windows. We just don't use Windows. With pidgin, I can connect to MSN, GoogleTalk and IRC at the same time.
