Hello, I recently added a new user which I gave FTP permissions to. I have been unable to authenticate an SFTP connection using this user's credentials (they do work logging in to plex, so I am confident the credentials are correct). Troubleshooting this issue actually lead to my IP being temporarily banned. Three strikes and you're out!
Also I have been able to successfully connect to SFTP with my primary account's credentials, so I know I can get an SFTP connection.
I just saw another post from someone who asked for two additional SFTP accounts and I think that explains what has been happening. That's led me here.
Do I need an admin to enable SFTP for my new user?
