  1. It seems like there's a good chance the technology's viable (the first attempt at making one is being done in Canada these days, I hear), but it won't be for personal computing any time soon, and quite possibly never. The [bleeped!] is much too complicated and expensive.

I don't understand how it's supposed to work, still.. If I'm not mistaken the whole point is to represent data probabilistic instead of as bits, meaning a [bleeped!] near infinite amount of data can be processed in a single operation.

    Any idea where in Canada?

  2. My names Noxious. I'v gone through a little college. I'v had alot of jobs and tried many different fields.

I'v been in some indie films, I'm currently just a singer in the music world but hope to get more into production some day (pro-tools expensive).

I'm aspiring to be a web designer/ programmer and have been teaching myself whatever I can get my hands on, my main experience in the field so far is just design with my background in the arts. I'm working on a comic right now and am hoping to score some free hosting and domainage in order to pimp myself to the online world. I used to play games heavily and helped as a consultant with the development of a couple independant projects. Hmmm I'm friends with one of the guys who started Bioware (Edmonton,Canada).

I also design clothing with my sweetheart and try to sell on Ebay from time to time, I play the banjo though not that well and the drums, guitar even worse.

Umm I have dreadlock and always feel weird when I try to talk about myself

  3. Parked Domain is what happens when you pay someone to reserve a domain name for you or when a company has bought a certain domain name believing that they can profit from selling it. Or at least thats my best guess.

  4. For about a year I was one of those online game junkies, I would get off work and just plug in like everyday. I realize now that a big part of my reason for doing that was to avoid reality. But on the other side of the coin now I use the internet for educational reasons like updating my webprogramming skills and finding resources for my multiple creative projects.

  6. torrents are illegal here in thailand...they've blocked basically every torrent site there is...

(anyone know a workaround? heh heh)

there isnt a way around that. they most likely using your ip address as an identifier, which states that you are from thailand. erhh go, you can not bypass your originating ip address

thanks for the help...although i am feeling sad and hopeless now...

ah well, i still have limewire! haha, not as great, but good enough for now i guess...

Well I remember one thing called an IP blocker (little box), they used to sell them about 6 years ago were supposed to stop everyone from tracking your IP address. Maybe you could try to get a hold of one of those babies.
