my honest opinion on windows vista is they are using everyone that buys a new pc with it as a victum becuase it is very vulnerable to virus's and exploits so if you use it your at risk its best to weight a year after they get a few service packs out and bug fix's i plan to stick with xp for a long while.

i prefer the more minimalist type themes and linux its not about looks its about the way it performs with its networking capabilitys windows is all about using recources so of course it will have better gui

pulling out the bios chip and reinserting it may help also i had that problem before losses conection for some reason

you can learn php pretty easy get a few help files i built my first php page within my first week of touching it

it works good with most games but i mainly use it for gfx design and software design works wonderful

Ive used Photoshop for the last 3 years its really great currently using cs2 also gimp is great ive used it also great and free
