  1. Hi again! I've ran my scripts again and checked after each script to see if any files were generated in my cgi-bin folder or /tmp but I can't seem to reproduce the problem that got my account suspended. Could you check to see if my /tmp file is starting to overflow and I'm just not seeing it on my end? I'll run my scripts at most, twice a day so in case it starts generating files due to some odd reason, I will be able to notice before it is too late. Thank you very much!
  2. That's interesting to hear. I expected these files to be created in a more uniform manner because I run my python files pretty uniformly, roughly once a day when I first started using the server and about once an hour as of recently. Here are some requests I would like to make: - Would you be able to unsuspend my account so I can run my python files once and see what kind of directories are being created? - Is there anyway to automatically clear those files perhaps every hour or even just once a day? - If there isn't, will you allow me the use of the server if I manually delete the files once a day so it doesn't accumulate to 28,848 directories in /tmp that I was suspended for?
  3. Is there anyway you can track where those files were generated from? If not, could you tell me when these files were generated? Basically, I'm wondering if the 28,848 directories are cumulative from since I started using the server. Is there a way I can clear the /tmp folder after each time a python program is finished running? I don't ever create or read files from any directory other than cgi-bin so I can only think that the directories in /tmp are being generated by some module I'm using and are probably temporary files that isn't being cleared properly.
  4. I'm honestly not sure how that happened. I'm relatively new to all the server side of things. Could you walk me through the kinds of files that were in /tmp or any idea how they were created? I used the server to run a python script whenever I access the url for that python file which were all in cgi-bin. Only one python script created new text files on the server but those files were also located in cgi-bin.
  5. HelioHost Username: dchan Server: Johnny server Domain: http://nativguard.heliohost.org Hello HelioHost, I'm not too sure why my account has suspended. I believe it may be because I am causing high server load. If that is the case, I will try to limit my connection to the server a a few times a day. Thank you very much!
