karimhamrouni Posted July 26 Posted July 26 As much as I appreciate a free upgrade to a better server I hate that it has been done automatically and without consent from my part. Since I use cloudflare my dns records needed to be updated and I didn't know about that nor did I know about the upgrade which meant that my website was down and showing that dns message for a while which is bad and I can only assume that it'll be the same once the morty free trial ends. Don't get me wrong the morty plan is cheap and i would consider it but i'm from a country that doesn't support international payment so paying for such service requires a lot of effort and mental gymnastics to convert from my own currency to crypto to USD so I can pay. Other than the fact that that the tommy server is occasionally for a few minutes before it's back I don't like the idea that my website can be down where i have to constantly update my dns records due to some advertisement attempt to get people to upgrade to the morty plan.
