Hello KInd of a noob question I guess. I have dedicated SSL IP address, and I want to have just the "Contact" page use https. I have installed the CRT,CA and it looks like it should work. So far everything I've tried does not work. What steps should i take to get HTTP on just that one page? Last time I did this I placed a file in a separate folder, and referred to the page as "https://contact.php" I must have missed or forgotten something? Your help greatly appreciated!

HI, I am Administrating/writing a web site for a friend's business site. She wants a super reliable web site and now is requesting SSL for secure emails. She has her domain name already registered, and the web site is azseniorservices.com on heliohost.net Johnny server. Question: Is it worth moving from Johnny to Stevie SSL, because the Server reliability is currently better? (Sometimes her users cant get to the web site....) Will Johnny SSL be more stable, or should I go ahead and move it over to Stevie SSL because of server load? As soon as I know which would be better from your Admin perspective, and best for her business web site, I will move or not move per your advise, and I will provide her Paypal email address so she can pay the $12 SSL fee. Hi Everyone! I just created an account using the 4th option on the signup page on heliohost.org on server JOHNNY wondering that i would be able to activate SSL but when i tried to look an Activate SSL option i was not able to find any thing. SSL manager allows generation of CSR and UPLOADING of Certificates but it has NO OPTION to Activate SSL/TLS. Now that is the problem plz help me Please be noted that i don't need dedicated ip i just need that SSL would be activated. i will use ssl on shared ip

If I request a SSL setup at $12/yr, what will this actually mean? (I read the wiki item on this, already) Q1. Is the entire webhosting for all the domains on my Heliohost account moved to an SSL service, or just the nominated domain? Q2. If the entire Heliohost account is moved does that mean all my domains have to use https:// ? Q3. I'm looking into this because I'm considering using Oxwall social network program from Softaliscious on Heliohost. I'm assuming that one really should use SSL for that, yes? Thanks Murray

Hello, I have applied my SSL certificate, ca bundle, etc in CPanel and I am receiving an error saying that my website is not reachable.. Here is the firefox window: While trying to go to https://kerbalexchange.com (I think my SSL cert didn't get created with a wildcard) An error occurred during a connection to kerbalexchange.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long) I was under the impression that after an IP purchase, this would work. I have done so, although I have not received any indication of a dedicated IP, is this a completely separate schedule? When I activate the SSL Host for the www.usa.iso-50001.info, a message shows as below: Error from ssl wrapper: Unable to produce a valid Apache configuration file. I installed a self-sign SSL for www.fbw.iso-50001.info, the result is same. Thanks.

I got a ssl certificate from Cacert. But if I use https://mysite then I'm getting Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long) I guess I need some sort of option enable from admin or server admin. So my question is that can I use SSL for my domain? Thank You

Hi Krydos Sorry for poking my nose in between. Just wish to know $12 for dedicated IP is one time purchase or need to be renewed yearly. Thanks in anticipation.

Hello, I was wondering why the Setup a SSL certificate to work with your site option is not available for my domain. I've already uploaded my SSL certificate I've acquired from COMODO but can't seem to get it to work on my domain. Is there anything I should do to get this option available for the domain? The self-signed SSL certificate for CPanel webmail on Stevie has expired as of September 4th, causing browsers to present errors even if the certificate was whitelisted in the past. Replication: 1. Go to https://stevie.heliohost.org:2096 2. The browser will report an expired SSL certificate.

I own a top level domain (ex: example.com). I would like to use SSL on it, so I generated my own crt file and uploaded it to the server in the SSL/TLS manager. It doesn't work. In Google Chrome I get SSL connection error and in Firefox I get the certificate file is over the max length. Any suggestions?

I'm planning to migrate part of my management consulting website to this new domain I acquired: valoritas.com.br I'm trying to activate SSL on my domain: valoritas.com.br Already obtained a 90-day trial for testing and validation purposes from Comodo, installed it, but the activate SSL link won't show off on cPanel. I followed the link: http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/ssl/install.html mentioned in one post but I couldn't finish the process because of dedicated IP pre-requisite. I read some article here in this Forum saying that I'd need a dedicated IP, and I that must request it in here. What are the other pre requisites and costs for that request? Hi, I would be very grateful for getting a dedicated ip for my domain, if possible. My domain: http://caringhasavalue.heliohost.org/ In so being, I would be able to use the domain for a Facebook iframe which requires https security.
