  1. Hi! I'm getting this error when I try to fix a problem I'm having with remote MySQL connection. I'm trying to unblock a host, since that's where my site is hosted. I get this Exception when I try to connect. exception 'PDOException' with message 'SQLSTATE[HY000] [1129] Host 'acf.me.uk' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts'' in /home/web/jemhunter/updcsconfe/dbtest.php:21 Stack trace: #0 /home/web/jemhunter/updcsconfe/dbtest.php(21): PDO-&--#62;__construct('mysql:host=john...', 'jemhuntr_admin', 'nottellingyou', Array) #1 {main} Any ideas on how I should do this? I'm not sure about how I can get elevated priviledges over the server, if that's even possible.
  2. Hi guys, I like run queries which will transfer data from mine local MySQL database to helionet database. To do so the engine FEDERATED should be enabled. By running command SHOW ENGINES; I see that federated engine on helionet is disabled. Can somebody enable it? Thanks in advance
  3. Username "jimbo1qa". My site is jimmyli.org , the domain expired, now in the process of moving to jimmyli.ro.lt until the domain's renewed. Since the Stevie crash, I have been getting MySQL errors with my Drupal install. First error -1, then odd errors: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home1/jimbo1qa/public_html/drupal/includes/common.inc:2700) in drupal_send_headers() (line 1217 of /home1/jimbo1qa/public_html/drupal/includes/bootstrap.inc). PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1467 Failed to read auto-increment value from storage engine: INSERT INTO {watchdog} (uid, type, message, variables, severity, link, location, referer, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (:db_insert_placeholder_0, :db_insert_placeholder_1, :db_insert_placeholder_2, :db_insert_placeholder_3, :db_insert_placeholder_4, :db_insert_placeholder_5, :db_insert_placeholder_6, :db_insert_placeholder_7, :db_insert_placeholder_8, :db_insert_placeholder_9); Array ( [:db_insert_placeholder_0] =&--#62; 0 [:db_insert_placeholder_1] =&--#62; cron [:db_insert_placeholder_2] =&--#62; Attempting to re-run cron while it is already running. Will this get fixed? Second problem: In my attempts to recover from the database crash, I downloaded a SQL backup. Then I attempted to create a new database to reupload to. Oddly, when I create in cPanel MySQL, it doesn't show up in phpMyAdmin, and when I use a SQL command to create in phpMyAdmin, I cannot access or delete it from cPanel . Now I have an unwanted empty database named jimbo1qa_666 that needs to be deleted. Do NOT delete jimbo1qaz_drup666. Is there any explanation for the invisible databases? 3. After successfully importing to jimbo1qaz_drup666, I cannot create a database user because cPanel does not "see" that database. This depends on the invisible database issue being solved. As a worst-case workaround, is there a way to set up MySQL users from phpMyAdmin?
  4. Hi I Want To Know What is the data base server Name of my sql on heliohost. i want to connect my jsp file with my sql, What to write at Connection connection = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:mysql://127.0.0.1/" + mysql_database,mysql_username,mysql_password) what is databse server name here. to write at place of mysql://127.0.0.1.
  5. Recently my php scripts to access a MySQL database have stopped working. All pages that try to do this only show an error saying that it can't log into the MySQL server. When I tried going into phpMyAdmin, I got a 1045 error. I tried changing the password for the database user, but it wasn't recognizing the old password. I then made a new user and added it to the database, and tried again, but no luck. (when I tried changing the password for the new user, it also told me the old password was invalid) I've no idea what's going on with the password system, but nothing seems to be working... Any suggestions? Thanks
  6. This is what happened after uploading that SQL file: Can somebody fix my new issue? This problem is not existed when I'm in Johnny server. 9. Greetings, I have enjoyed fantastic hosting for the past year with your hosting service, my fansite, CastleWorld. http://castleworld.heliohost.org/ Of late I cannot connect to the site, at first I figured I hit it during downtime but days later it's still down. I am able to ping the site via the command prompt and can access it via ftp and the CP. The problem is in the browser, when I try to access it I get the following error "Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL.". Now I did some looking online and this is a common error caused by misinformation on the configuration.php file, thing is though, I haven't modified the site in a month and after checking the file everything seems to check out. Then I checked the CP and for my Joomla database it shows a size of 0.00MB which leads me to believe someone deleted it somehow. Nobody besides me administrates the site and I beleive I took proper security measures when setting up the database and site. This leads me to ask, did you at helionet somehow end up deleting my database? Am I missing something? What could have happened to it? Did someone do this because I sometimes forgot to log into the CP monthly? Please help. Edit: I just tried logging into my phpmyadmin and got error #1045 Cannot log into the MySQL server, could the problem be on your end?
  10. I created a DB and user but when I run the PHP script I get the error Access denied for user 'waltp_waltp'@'localhost' to database 'waltp_infobase' The command executed is mysql_select_db($dbname) or die(mysql_error()); Did I not set up the DB or user correctly? the script is http://pattinson.heliohost.org/wjp/celeb/celebMake.php
  11. Hello, i'm trying to connect to mysql but i can't. 12. Hey, I've recently started a demonstration project for a class; I'm creating a web app in PHP, and I keep randomly running into "Internal Server Error"...nothing is being output to the error logs, and I can't figure out what's even causing this to happen. It's not a single specific script that causes this, I've gotten them on almost every page at some point. After waiting about a minute or so, it goes away, and the exact same page or script runs correctly... What are common causes of an issue like this? Thanks

  16. I'm trying to create a new database for Drupal, but I'm getting a "Mysql server currently offline" error message when going through cPanel. Same issue when using Database Wizard. Update: Mysql appears to functioning correctly as of 12:04pm CST.
  17. Hello. I couldn't figure out if this belongs in the questions section or customer support, so I apologize if it's in the wrong place. When I tried to view my database created in cPanel, I couldn't find it, so I ran softalicious/joomla to automatically create a database, and I cannot view that one either. All I can see is information_schema. I also cannot see the panel on the left which lists the databases, I don't know if that is intentional or not. (screenshot: http://oi40.tinypic.com/1zgg854.jpg) I am trying to import my database from my old host, so I can move my website, but I keep getting this error. .sql backup says: Error SQL query: -- -- Database: `****x10h_******` -- -- -------------------------------------------------------- -- -- Table structure for table `***_assets` -- CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `ima_assets` ( `id` int( 10 ) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT COMMENT 'Primary Key', `parent_id` int( 11 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set parent.', `lft` int( 11 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set lft.', `rgt` int( 11 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set rgt.', `level` int( 10 ) unsigned NOT NULL COMMENT 'The cached level in the nested tree.', `name` varchar( 50 ) NOT NULL COMMENT 'The unique name for the asset.\n', `title` varchar( 100 ) NOT NULL COMMENT 'The descriptive title for the asset.', `rules` varchar( 5120 ) NOT NULL COMMENT 'JSON encoded access control.', PRIMARY KEY ( `id` ) , UNIQUE KEY `idx_asset_name` ( `name` ) , KEY `idx_lft_rgt` ( `lft` , `rgt` ) , KEY `idx_parent_id` ( `parent_id` ) ) ENGINE = InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET = utf8 AUTO_INCREMENT =56; MySQL said: Documentation #1046 - No database selected XML backup says: Error SQL query: &--#60;?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?&--#62; &--#60;!-- - phpMyAdmin XML Dump - version 3.5.5 - http://www.phpmyadmin.net - - Host: localhost - Generation Time: Aug 04, 2013 at 03:56 PM - Server version: 5.1.68 - PHP Version: 5.3.22 --&--#62; &--#60;pma_xml_export version="1.0" xmlns:pma="http://www.phpmyadmin.net/some_doc_url/"&--#62; &--#60;!-- - Structure schemas --&--#62; &--#60;pma:structure_schemas&--#62; &--#60;pma:database name="****x10h_******" collation="utf8_general_ci" charset="utf8"&--#62; &--#60;pma:table name="ima_assets"&--#62; CREATE TABLE `ima_assets` ( `id` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT COMMENT 'Primary Key', `parent_id` int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set parent.', `lft` int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set lft.', `rgt` int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set rgt.', `level` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL COMMENT 'The cached level in the nested [...] MySQL said: Documentation #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '&--#60;?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?&--#62; &--#60;!-- - phpMyAdmin XML Dump - version 3' at line 1
  18. Hello, Everyone. I'm having problems with my CGI executable on my site. It gives HTTP 500 Internal Server Error while I have no access to any detailed logs to be able to troubleshoot the problem. It works well on my computer. The permissions of the file are set correctly (755). And another "Hello, World!" CGI program works perfectly on the server. It seems to me that this is a linking issue. Here are the details of the executable: The executable is linked with the following libraries: Source Code: #include <iostream> #include <mysql.h> using namespace std; const string CRLF = "\r\n"; int main() { cout << "Content-Type: text/plain" << CRLF << CRLF; cout << "Hello, World!" << CRLF; try { cout << "MySQL Client Version: " << mysql_get_client_info() << CRLF; } catch(exception& ex) { cout << "ERROR: " << ex.what() << CRLF; } return 0; } Compiled Using: gcc 4.7 with the following specifications: Makefile: #Variables: INCLUDE_DIR = -I/usr/local/mysql/include LIBS_DIR = -L/usr/local/lib64 STATIC_LIBS = -lmysqlclient DYNAMIC_LIBS = -ldl -lpthread -lrt STATIC_LINK_FLAG = -Wl,-Bstatic DYNAMIC_LINK_FLAG = -Wl,-Bdynamic LD_FLAGS = $(LIBS_DIR) $(STATIC_LINK_FLAG) $(STATIC_LIBS) $(DYNAMIC_LINK_FLAG) $(DYNAMIC_LIBS) #Rules: test.cgi: test.cpp g++ test.cpp $(INCLUDE_DIR) $(LD_FLAGS) -o test.cgi
  19. I am getting this error when accessing the homepage of my heliohost site: I checked my 'config.php' file and made sure that the the db name, db user, the password, and the server (stevie.heliohost.org) was correct. I also added the user to the database I created. What could be wrong? Any ideas? Thanks in advance
  20. So i just reccently got acsess to my control panel on the johny server(however my account still needs to be activated, whatever that is), now i was messing around with mysql, and just after the account was setup, phpmyadmin was working just fine. However after i imported a databse into it, i have recieved this error every time i try to start it: Error SQL query SET CHARACTER SET 'utf8'; MySQL said: #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) Now the mysql database must be working, because i can still connect remotely trough a client that perodically inserts some values into the database. However it is a nussance that phpmyadmin doesn't seem to work.
  21. I am new to web development and I am having some problems figuring out how to deploy databases to the heliohost servers. My account is on johnny as I am doing ASP.NET development. I am trying to either deploy a local database to my heliohost account, or start a remote connection to the heliohost database and work with that directly. I tried to create a connection to johnny in mySQL workbench, but have been having problems. I created a new server instance to johnny and that seems to have worked. Then I attempted to create a new DB connection. This seemed to work as well, but then I attempted to create a new model, created a single table as a test and tried to forward engineer this and export the table but keep getting errors: It successfully connects to the DDMS, but when it tried to Execute Forward Engineered Script I get an error: I was wondering if anyone has any idea what I might be missing or what I should try to get this to work? Just to update this, I realized that I had not associated the user with the tstewart_test database on heliohost, but after doing this and giving it full privileges it still did not work.
  22. First I would like to say thank you for all of your time and effort for providing us with such a wonderful service. When trying to access my site I get this error: Unknown storage engine 'InnoDB' [1286] When I checked the engines tab in phpmyadmin it showed MyISAM MyISAM storage engine MRG_MYISAM Collection of identical MyISAM tables MEMORY Hash based, stored in memory, useful for temporary tables BLACKHOLE /dev/null storage engine (anything you write to it disappears) CSV CSV storage engine InnoDB Supports transactions, row-level locking, and foreign keys ARCHIVE Archive storage engine PERFORMANCE_SCHEMA Performance Schema FEDERATED Federated MySQL storage engine And when clicking on the InnoDB entry I am told: InnoDB Supports transactions, row-level locking, and foreign keys This MySQL server does not support the InnoDB storage engine. There is no detailed status information available for this storage engine. So it would seem that there is no InnoDB engine preent in the database. However , in order for me to recieve the initial error Unknown storage engine 'InnoDB' [1286] InnoDB would have had to have been present when the database was written, and now it is not. In order for me to resolve this error I must delete all log files and restart the mysql database. How would I be able to do that? Thanx again .
  23. Hi, I will appreciate any help possible. Details: mysavings.heliohost.org Currently getting error: Failed to find or load the registered .Net Framework Data Provider 'MySql.Data.MySqlClient'. Trying to connect to MySQL from asp.net: Web.config - <configuration> <connectionStrings> <remove name="LocalMySqlServer"/> <add name="MySQLConnectionString" connectionString="Datasource=johnny.heliohost.org;Database=mysaving_401Kmembers; uid=mysaving_admin;pwd=******;" providerName="MySql.Data.MySqlClient"/> </connectionStrings> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web> </configuration> If I run the website locally then it is able to connect to MySQL and show records from database table. Am I missing something!!! Thanks in advance for help.
  24. I got an email saying that my account was disabled because no one logged into cPanel in over a month. I went and executed the renewal script and my website was up agian... except with one very important part missing. The MySQL database have suddenly seemed as kthey have lost all of the info stored within them. Also the web applications no longer have access to them rendering my site almost completely unusable. I've had problems with MySQL before but I wonder what caused this. Also I tried to see what was happening by using phpMyAdmin but apparently I can't log into that anymore either. Server: Stevie User: toast Domain: burnedtoast.cu.cc All of my databases were affected.
