We recently moved trinucc.heliohost.org to trinitys.heliohost.org Our domain name, tirnityskippack.org, is using ns1 and ns2.heliohost.org as their dns manager When trying to add parked domain/server alias, it throws an error stating that the dns entry is already in the server cluster. I assume from our defunct Stewie instance. Could we get this removed, and/or informed how to remove this so we can finish our migration? Thanks

Merry Christmas and happy New Year to everybody! I would like to create a new account on Johnny using the same e-mail and username as on Stevie, but I'm not allowed to as the credentials are still associated with the Stevie account. Would any of the mighty admins please free my account on Stevie? Could you also be so kind and free the domain brute.heliohost.org? By the way, I've got another domain for my site, namely, brute.tk (provided by dot.tk and/or Freenom). Will I need to change any settings to continue using this domain: the nameservers or anything? Hello I changed my main domain from apissto1.heliohost.org to wiki-net.tk using the domain change script available at http://www.heliohost.org/classic/support/scripts/domain. I also included the name servers ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org in the new domain. However even after 2-3 days, the server is not pointing to the wiki-net.tk domain due to which the site isn't loading. Please fix the issue. Username=apissto1 Server=Johnny

I was wondering if it is possible for someone to please delete my domain: badvibesforcefield.heliohost.org I have backed up all my files via file transfer protocol (FTP). I tried to delete the domain myself but I think the fact that the filesystem on johnny is so broken that the program will not let me delete the domain. Thank-you for reading this post. Hello, I have a problem with domain addon. I've set up nameserver correctly as always. After cPanel finished processing domain addon it has never actually listed my new domain in the list of addon domains. public_html folder has been created successfully. When I try to repeat the process it says: A DNS entry for the domain “xxxxxx.xxxxxx.heliohost.org” already exists. xxxxxx's are the domain name and username on heliohost. Stats on cPanel left side show 2 addon domains, although there should be three. Thank you. Best regards.

Hi, I want to change site domain from cairojpdept.heliohost.com to cairojpdeptlibrary.heliohost.com, as this will be changed to be a library site. If this is not possible I`ll request deletion of this site (after backing it up) to be able to create the new one (on same server, which is Jonny). Thanks Ashraf

I need to point the domain appfactorycolombia.com Johnny host with my vanegas user, but despite having eliminated the server domain even still pointing to that server can see the pinging or attempting to enter from the browser, as I do to decouple from that server. Thank you

Hello! I got to set up two .eu.org domains today on my account (texl), and could only do that through a complicated chain of actions: 1) Set up a DNS zone on ClouDNS for the domain; 2) Request the domain using the zone created; 3) Once aproved, change the main domain of my account to the approved domain, so the heliohost nameservers would start handling it; 4) Change the nameservers to be the heliohost ones (wouldn't work before setting as main domain); 5) Change my main domain back to what it was before; 6) Add the domain as an addon domain. I was able to make the first domain work like this, but when I get to step 6 on the second domain I am getting this error: "The domain “semulapi.eu.org” already exists in the Apache configuration." I guess all this juggling of domains and nameservers might have messed up with the apache configurations. I tried deleting the DNS zone entries related to the domain to see if the error would go away, but it didn't. Could you guys help out? As always, thank you very much for the awesome service!

Hello all! I have next problem? I want to register in Steavi hosting, but ALL times I have error: "A DNS entry for “bimusoft.tk” already exists. You must remove this DNS entry from all servers in the DNS cluster to proceed." I full delete this domain, but have error again, now I register domain, and configure ns servers to this hosting but have this error again? why!!!? If I delete domain I have error, if I register domain I have error again, why why why? Whois service showes that domain correctly configure to this toyur hosting, why I have error all times?

Hi, I deleted my stevie account and moved to johnny however am having trouble getting the custom domain to recognise the new site. tomlogan.co.nz still goes to an account queued site which I think is for the johnny server - the DNS then I think is still being used by johnny. also, an additional issue is that the helio domain tomlogan1.heliohost.org which should be on the stevie server is failing to load due to a DNS issue also. could you please help? Thanks

Yesterday i register heliohost account, and then i adding my own domain (omben.com) to heliohost account via cpanel. Then, beacuse a mistake i delete my heliohost account, but my domain still active on my old heliohost account (you can check omben.com). How can i really delete it? I need to use my domain on my new heliohost account, but my domain still active on my old account. my old heliohost accont: username : omben domain : ombenhost.heliohost.org (and then i adding omben.com) server : stevie

Hello, I'm trying to setup an account with bighti.com domain. Unfortunately, at the registration moment, we've mispelled the word and inputted bigthi.com (notice the th order). I've used the script to change the domain, two days ago, and the website is being served as it should, whereas the domain on the cpanel still shows the wrong bigthi.com. The problem of that is that we cannot setup the email accounts that we are in need of. They still are created as email.account@bigthi.com. I've also tried to setup the correct domain as a parked domain, but the cpanel informs me that this domain already exists in the Apache configuration. Thank you. Sorry, never mind, I've figured that out. The problem is that other member of our team tried to configure another account and now the right domain is pointing to it. This topic can be closed. Sorry.

A few days later I change my *.heliohost.org subdomain to demo.heliohost.org using the script "Domain Change" and upon waiting approximately for about 48 hours and check my desired subdomain, it takes forever to load.. So, I decided to delete my HelioHost account, and this time I tried to register again with my desired subdomain but unfortunately, it said: "We're sorry, but that domain has already been taken. Please go back and enter a different domain." Can somebody make it available for me 'cause I really need that for the live preview of my upcoming product? Can somebody help me for that purpose? How do I enable a content delivery network (CDN) such as CloudFlare, with a *.heliohost.org subdomain? Upon adding a website and inputting my *.heliohost.org subdomain in getting started with CloudFlare, this quote is appearing: "We were unable to identify *.heliohost.org as a registered domain. Please ensure you are providing the root domain and not any subdomains (e.g., example.com, not subdomain.example.com) (Code: 1099)" And also, can the nameservers of a *.heliohost.org subdomain be changed? Is using CloudFlare with a *.heliohost.org subdomain, not possible? If it is, could you give me the right instructions to achieve that? If it's not, can you give me a specific CDN that can be used in such subdomain with a little instructions? Thank you..

I've recently got a new domain. Now I want my current domain 'point' to the new one (when I type 'old.heliohost.org' I want myself redirected to 'new.com'). At the same time I don't want to lose my current domain as I may need it if something goes wrong with the new domain, for example. So, I've searched the Net for this and found some examples of how to do this using '.htaccess' (eg. http://whaaat.com/content/redirect-old-domain-new-domain-using-htaccess). Following this example, I did the following: <CODE> RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^old.heliohost.org$ [OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.old.heliohost.org$ [OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.new.com$ RewriteRule (.*)$ http://new.com/$1 [R=301,L] </CODE> Then I typed 'new.com' into my browser. The main page including CSS files were loaded OK, but all the images and some scripts disappeared (I didn't touch the contents of this page). I've read about the DomainChange script (http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/domain), but it should eliminate my old domain, shouldn't it? What to do? How to redirect my old domain to the new one?

Hello! I have searched the forum and the web, but unfortunately I don't understand some basic concepts yet. What I have already done: - I own a domain name, not from HelioHost, which I want to use. I have changed the DNS1 and DNS2 to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org, respectively. However, there are also DNS3-DNS6 with the default name - ns3.blablabla.something, which I cannot remove. Is this correct? -I have created an html page in dreamweaver (nothing special, just a backround image) in order to test my website upload. Unfortunately, I only see a white page, in Chrome or Firefox, when I type the URL I have in my domain. The HTML page is uploaded using the File Manager, inside the public_html directory. -I generally don't understand how to check the status of my website. If there are any more suggestions or tutorials on the web, I would be happy to check them. It is obvious I am a starter. If any other info is needed from my part, please ask me.

I had my domain, juan-potato.com , set on an account, but after a while I decided I wanted to restart my hosting (it was stuck on the page that said your account wasn't ready for days) . I deleted my account and went to a different one. I tried setting the domain but it's not working :| it still redirects to that cgi-bin page but now it doesnt exist. I just want to be able to host my website. My account that I deleted was "awkward" and the new account was named "potato"

I am trying to create an addon/parked domain for a domain that I wish to transfer to my Heliohost account but I get the following error. Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver. I have a catch 22 where I cannot create the domain on my Heliohost account until I update the domain with my registrar but my registrar won't update my domain if the specified DNS's (ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org) are not configured for the domain. Can Heliohost enable me to create the domain without updating the registrar first? Or help me understand the error message better so that I can carry on with my transfer. If I delete the domain off the current host's server, will I then be able to create the domain on my Heliohost account? Thanks. Chris
