  1. Hi, I tried to log in my account in PhpMyAdmin many times today, is it down? It says Error: 500. And also I think I also need help in restoring my databases. It is shown in the MySql DB page but It doesn't have any File Size so I think its wiped. Thank you, ID: jperana
  2. username = wikinet domain= wiki-net.tk account type = stevie hello.... my site wiki-net.tk has a sub-domain site queries.wiki-net.tk & it is a forum that requires mysql. it was working fine. but now when i visit it the browser says "Could not establish database connection". i didn't change anything. on going to control panel, the phpmyadmin also doesn't work and displays a blank page on entering the username/password. please fix the mysql issue....thanks
  3. Hi there guys, I have setup my website, it loads great. No issues with the Cpanel basic features. Now, here is my issue. I need to access phpMyAdmin to import an .sql file. I have tried multiple times to access it, and i always get the same message: "Please be patient, you will be redirected in a moment...." I never got redirected. So i decided to download the official php framework from phpMyAdmin.net and upload it, so i could have remote access directly going to /phpMyAdmin from the domain. I know stevie is using mySQL version 5.1.52 , so I made sure i installed the right phpMyAdmin framework. Yet, when I access the folder I get a blank page. Even though I know everything is setup right. Other than that I also often get this message: "the mySQL Server is offline..." --------- Is there a way to fix it?
  4. Hello, I have move my website from old server to helios. I have some issues with phpMyAdmin and MySQL, I cannot login. When I go to phpMyAdmin from cpanel is asking to login and I get this error: #2002 cannot login to the mysql server. And my database is seems to not be restored. My username: stergos4 domain: http://www.564823.heliohost.org/ Also I notice that the server use the path /home1 instead of /home. If there is any way to change it to /home would be great because all my website is pointed to home. Please help, thanks in advance.
  5. When I try to login to phpmyadmin through cpanel (using my heliohost username and password) it comes up with the error: #1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL server Anyone have any idea why?
  6. I think I kinda locked myself out of mysql. I can log in using phpMyAdmin under any of the names that I created for the databases in the cPanel, but I think I did something wrong yesterday when I was trying to access the database incorrectly and exceeded my attempts. I attempted to change the max number of attempts allowed and I don't exactly remember what all I did, but I think I tried to change some permissions or something along those lines and ended up changing the permissions of the root account and now none of the accounts have any permissions. I was wondering if you guys could reset my mysql database, and if possible, do so without removing my tables, or reset the permissions back to default. Thanks. username: hmaal domain: maalstudios.heliohost.org server: johnny
  7. Hey, So I can't login to my phpMyAdmin account. I'm using the same login information that I use for my cPanel and its just not letting me in. I keep getting the #1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL server error. I don't recall changing anything, not that I think I have access to change anything like that. Thanks. username: hmaal domain: maalstudios.heliohost.org server: johnny
  8. Hello, I have a problem with MySQL innoDB tables. This happens after Stevie was crashed. Now all InnoDB tables are not accessible with error message: Unknown table engine 'InnoDB'. Thanks in advance!
  9. Is this normal? Whenever I refresh cPanel or simply launch PHPmyadmin on my account, my website becomes inaccessible due to a "500 Internal Server" error. I read up a bit on internal server errors for Heliohost here: http://wiki.helionet...l_Server_Errors, and I'm lead to believe it might be the result of using too many processes... but I'd like to be sure. Username: lenoodle Domain: tapp.heliohost.org Server: stevie
  10. Username "jimbo1qa". My site is jimmyli.org , the domain expired, now in the process of moving to jimmyli.ro.lt until the domain's renewed. Since the Stevie crash, I have been getting MySQL errors with my Drupal install. First error -1, then odd errors: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home1/jimbo1qa/public_html/drupal/includes/common.inc:2700) in drupal_send_headers() (line 1217 of /home1/jimbo1qa/public_html/drupal/includes/bootstrap.inc). PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1467 Failed to read auto-increment value from storage engine: INSERT INTO {watchdog} (uid, type, message, variables, severity, link, location, referer, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (:db_insert_placeholder_0, :db_insert_placeholder_1, :db_insert_placeholder_2, :db_insert_placeholder_3, :db_insert_placeholder_4, :db_insert_placeholder_5, :db_insert_placeholder_6, :db_insert_placeholder_7, :db_insert_placeholder_8, :db_insert_placeholder_9); Array ( [:db_insert_placeholder_0] =&--#62; 0 [:db_insert_placeholder_1] =&--#62; cron [:db_insert_placeholder_2] =&--#62; Attempting to re-run cron while it is already running. Will this get fixed? Second problem: In my attempts to recover from the database crash, I downloaded a SQL backup. Then I attempted to create a new database to reupload to. Oddly, when I create in cPanel MySQL, it doesn't show up in phpMyAdmin, and when I use a SQL command to create in phpMyAdmin, I cannot access or delete it from cPanel . Now I have an unwanted empty database named jimbo1qa_666 that needs to be deleted. Do NOT delete jimbo1qaz_drup666. Is there any explanation for the invisible databases? 3. After successfully importing to jimbo1qaz_drup666, I cannot create a database user because cPanel does not "see" that database. This depends on the invisible database issue being solved. As a worst-case workaround, is there a way to set up MySQL users from phpMyAdmin?
  11. Recently my php scripts to access a MySQL database have stopped working. All pages that try to do this only show an error saying that it can't log into the MySQL server. When I tried going into phpMyAdmin, I got a 1045 error. I tried changing the password for the database user, but it wasn't recognizing the old password. I then made a new user and added it to the database, and tried again, but no luck. (when I tried changing the password for the new user, it also told me the old password was invalid) I've no idea what's going on with the password system, but nothing seems to be working... Any suggestions? Thanks
  12.   14. I have the "Jpmaster77's login script" on my site and I wanted to add "Biography's" on the profiles. I created a new row in the 'users' table called 'bio' so I added this code to the 'userinfo.php' file: /* Bio*/ echo "<b><u>Biography:</b></u> <br/> ".$req_user_info['bio']."</p></div>"; I copied it from the E-mail one, which is: /* Email */ echo "<b><u>E-mail:</b></u> <br/> ".$req_user_info['email']."</p><hr/>"; (I just changed the 'email' to 'bio' ) And here is the 'useredit.php' (edit profile) file for the editing bio: <div class="clear"></div> <p class="grid_2"><div align="center">Biography: </p> <p class="center"> <input class="center" type="textarea" name="bio" maxlength="10000" value="<?php if($form->value("bio") == ""){ echo $session->userinfo['bio']; }else{ echo $form->value("bio"); } ?>"> <?php echo $form->error("bio"); ?> </p> <div class="clear"></div> <p> And I also just copied that from the "E-mail" edit profie, which is: <div class="clear"></div> <p class="grid_2"><div align="center">E-mail: </p> <p class="center"> <input class="center" type="text" name="email" maxlength="50" value="<?php if($form->value("email") == ""){ echo $session->userinfo['email']; }else{ echo $form->value("email"); } ?>"> <?php echo $form->error("email"); ?> </p> <div class="clear"></div> <p> <br/> But my problem is when the user edits his profile nothing get submitted to the database and nothing obviously shows up on their profile. What am I doing wrong? What I said above is ALL did. Any nice help is really appreciated. [i also attached a picture of the 'bio' database row.]
  15. Hello. I couldn't figure out if this belongs in the questions section or customer support, so I apologize if it's in the wrong place. When I tried to view my database created in cPanel, I couldn't find it, so I ran softalicious/joomla to automatically create a database, and I cannot view that one either. All I can see is information_schema. I also cannot see the panel on the left which lists the databases, I don't know if that is intentional or not. (screenshot: http://oi40.tinypic.com/1zgg854.jpg) I am trying to import my database from my old host, so I can move my website, but I keep getting this error. .sql backup says: Error SQL query: -- -- Database: `****x10h_******` -- -- -------------------------------------------------------- -- -- Table structure for table `***_assets` -- CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `ima_assets` ( `id` int( 10 ) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT COMMENT 'Primary Key', `parent_id` int( 11 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set parent.', `lft` int( 11 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set lft.', `rgt` int( 11 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set rgt.', `level` int( 10 ) unsigned NOT NULL COMMENT 'The cached level in the nested tree.', `name` varchar( 50 ) NOT NULL COMMENT 'The unique name for the asset.\n', `title` varchar( 100 ) NOT NULL COMMENT 'The descriptive title for the asset.', `rules` varchar( 5120 ) NOT NULL COMMENT 'JSON encoded access control.', PRIMARY KEY ( `id` ) , UNIQUE KEY `idx_asset_name` ( `name` ) , KEY `idx_lft_rgt` ( `lft` , `rgt` ) , KEY `idx_parent_id` ( `parent_id` ) ) ENGINE = InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET = utf8 AUTO_INCREMENT =56; MySQL said: Documentation #1046 - No database selected XML backup says: Error SQL query: &--#60;?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?&--#62; &--#60;!-- - phpMyAdmin XML Dump - version 3.5.5 - http://www.phpmyadmin.net - - Host: localhost - Generation Time: Aug 04, 2013 at 03:56 PM - Server version: 5.1.68 - PHP Version: 5.3.22 --&--#62; &--#60;pma_xml_export version="1.0" xmlns:pma="http://www.phpmyadmin.net/some_doc_url/"&--#62; &--#60;!-- - Structure schemas --&--#62; &--#60;pma:structure_schemas&--#62; &--#60;pma:database name="****x10h_******" collation="utf8_general_ci" charset="utf8"&--#62; &--#60;pma:table name="ima_assets"&--#62; CREATE TABLE `ima_assets` ( `id` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT COMMENT 'Primary Key', `parent_id` int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set parent.', `lft` int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set lft.', `rgt` int(11) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' COMMENT 'Nested set rgt.', `level` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL COMMENT 'The cached level in the nested [...] MySQL said: Documentation #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '&--#60;?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?&--#62; &--#60;!-- - phpMyAdmin XML Dump - version 3' at line 1
  16. Hello, First of all I wasn't sure where to post this,so sorry if it's in the wrong Forum. I seem to be geting 500 errors lately which I believe might be heliohosts fault. Sometimes if I add the tinyest update to a script,while phpmyadmin is open 500's begin to happen. Can I prevent this? Thanks Conor
  17. I already know that there are limited processes set on accounts, such as logging into cPanel will bring the sites down for the account until logged out of cPanel. The more I look at the resources that cPanel uses the more I am of the opinion that it is no longer a suitable Control Panel for shared hosting. After all it is cPanel themselves that have introduced CPU as a main factor in monitoring and administration of accounts, when in fact cPanel itself is the resource HOG. Personally I would like to see all shared hosting providers switch to Webmin for Admin and Virtualmin for accounts. They are much more stable and are resource friendly. cPanel itself has become useless for Clients in my opinion. However the problem I have at the moment is that even using FTP to connect to the Server so that files can be modified is now also bringing the sites down. This is not a regular occurrence but does happen enough times as to me not wishing to attempt to use it. The problem is even if I directly log into phpMyAdmin to circumvent using cPanel, I still bring the sites down while I am downloading back up databases. It is not until I close phpMyAdmin that the sites come back up again and that is after a minute or so. Now the same is happening with FTP. Except that FTP brings the sites down for longer. My questions are this: 1/ Is there any way to alter the process allowance so that we van login to phpMyAdmin without bringing the Sites down? 2/ Why is FTP causing problems and now bringing the sites down, after all FTP is not a resource problem, (or it should not be)? Don't get me wrong the service on Heliohost has been excellent since the restriction on processes has restricted abuse or resource hogging, however there has to be a way to get backups without affecting the sites.
  18. Hello Heliohost, I've been using your services for quite a while, and recently forgot my password. I reset it using the CPanel reset (before login) and then logged in. I did a little file modifying here and there before I went to add an SQL table to a database. When I clicked PHPMyAdmin, this is what I got: Error SQL query: Edit SET CHARACTER SET 'utf8'; MySQL said: #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) It's been saying this for about 1/2 hour now. I tried changing the password, but that did nothing. I tried changing it back, but still the same. I tried clearing the cookies, restarting the browser, and even logging out and back in again. Nothing seemed to work. Is there any way I can fix this error, or will the admin need to fix something? User Account: higuymb User Domain: higuysmb.heliohost.org Thanks, HiGuy Just going to say that it auto-corrected itself and is now showing the login screen.
  19. Hello all I'm moving accross from a different free host and have made a backup of the database off of that host. I used phpmyadmin to do an export on the other host and now that I have moved over to you guys as a host, I am having problems importing the database. I am getting an access denied error that keeps popping up, and the username that it keeps saying is my default username. Just in case it is helpful in any way, I am on the stevie server. Thanks everyone
