I add a new domain like www.mydomain.com and I want to protect it with a password. When anyone visits the address they enter an username and password. How to do this ? -
Hi, I recently tried to change my password in cPanel. It booted me out of the system, and when I try to log back into cPanel, it says wrong password. I used the Forgot My Password tool, and it sent me a verification email. Did all the steps. When it gave me the new password, it still did not work to log in to cPanel. Hi Guys, Today, I forgot my regular cpanel password. Resetted it once but did not write it down so forgot again however when I right to try to reset the password, I am not receiveing the password reset mail. I followed the same process as the first time. Tried many time even after intervals but the system is not sending the email. Even tried the chat forum but no one helped there. Can somebody from staff reset or look into as to why system is not sending reset password mail. my cpanel userid is gujsingh. Hope to get this resolved quickly. Thanks. guj

Hello, I've been trying to login to the stevie cpanel for 1 hour already. Every time I try the password reset, it doesn't do a thing... The first 2 times it actually sent an email containing the reset code. When I finally got to resetting the password, the script gave me the most useless password ever made... The cpanel login doesn't even accept it. Can you please reset my password to something normal so that I can work again with the cpanel? My domain: orbitalgravity.heliohost.org Thanks -
So, like what happens to many people, I have forgotten the password for my Stevie cPanel. I tried resetting it, but never received the reset email. I just let it be, as I didn't need access right then, and was busy with other things. Of course I kept getting the inactive account reset emails, so I kept my account open using the renew tool. But I am still unable to reset my password. So unless I did something without thinking, and changed my cPanel email, I am puzzled as to why I don't receive any reset emails. I can provide account information to the Helionet personnel if needed. Thank you,

Hi, recently i tried to enter into the cpanel, but i lost my password..I tried many times with different passwords and now when i try to change my password (with the email activation), it doesn't seems to work anymore... I had 2 differents log in (one for the cpanel et one for the helio website i think), could you help me by sending new id with my e-mail address? edit thanks !

Hey, guys. I have created an account on Johnny a few days ago, and recently decided to move to Stevie for better up-time and stability. Following the step-by-step tutorial, I have requested my account deletion. I then tried to created a Stevie account using the same domain, but I couldn't (the site was saying the domain was already in use), so I renewed the old account to try and change it's domain before deleting it again. The problem is that now the old account is active, but the password is changed, and I don't know what it is nor can I change it through the Panel: I receive the e-mail with the confirmation code, but the code doesn't work. Can someone please e-mail me this new password, or better yet, just delete the old account so that I can create the new Stevie one with my domain? Thank you for your help.

Hello! My account was suspended because of my inactiviti. When I tried to reactivate it, server obviously had some problems. So I got confused etc. At the end, I wanted to reset my password, but after getting email with reset code and entering that in a browser, kode window just reaperes and so on. Dear Support, My hosting account at HelioHost has been suspended for inactivity. I have tried to log in but all what I got was: "Login Attempt Failed!". Firstly, I'd like to say I'm sorry. This is my fault, not at all HelioNet. I've just started an account (username = djlowry, domain=davidlowryduda.tk, server=stevie) and I'm looking forward to the service. Somehow, I managed to get my password confused when I was logging in to my cPanel, so it offered to reset my password. I clicked it, it worked, I reset my password, looked around briefly, and then ate a wonderful lunch while dreaming of how awesome I'll be at django one day. I come back, the password I thought I'd typed didn't work (I wrote it down, a bit confused), so I hit myself in the forehead and reset my password again. This time, since I was impatient, I copied the confirmation code over and used that. Except, as it turns out, I left out the last character. Whoops! It said it would resend me an email, sure. I didn't read the new email, thinking it would be the same confirmation code. Whoops! It wasn't. Ok, so now my self-image is dropping a little, but I'll still be absolutely amazing at django one day. So I hit the resend-yet-another-email button... but nothing comes. I wait five minutes. So I hit it again. Hoping the links from the old emails might work, I click on them. In short, I've become convinced there is a reasonable limit on how many times you can reset your password, and I've hit it. I feel tremendously foolish. This brings me to my pair of questions: 1. What can I do about this? 2. What is the reset-password limit and how long does it take for it to reset? Thank you, I appreciate the effort you put into this place.

Hey guys, I recently signed up my website - www.atf2rg.com on heliohost. It has been bought at intuit and I decided to change the hosting to heliohost. I edited the nameservers today and just wanted to check out the cpanel.. As far as i remember my login was atrg but it says username not found. anyway to recover username using the email provided or something? if yes, please help me. If resetting is not possible, delete that account. I will sign up again. I signed up on Johnny and the email used was technogeared007@gmail.com

I reset my password earlier today, after some cPanel work. I tried logging back in and my new password didn't work. Then i tried the password reset, and now after an hour there is still no email. First, I only have one web hosting account! In other words, I just recreates my account.. It would be better to review my creation history that listed below: First registration, is on Johnny. But I move my account to Stevie. Now, I try to recreate my account in Stevie hoping the mild AJAX error would be fixed. And note that the password that I've used on all of those (re)creation have 18 characters, all alphabets are in lower case, and have two numbers. Here is the problem, every after the creation of my account, I always use Password Reset to get my password because all of my login attempts without resetting my password were always failed. Why it's happening? -
I just had a thought. In the forums we are required to post our username, server and domain sometimes. So if I want to paralyze a site, could I not just attempt a few logins and thereby lock someone out of their account? Is there a feature to reset via one's email (brute force counter not password) or security question that doesn't otherwise bother the admins?

Hi, I tried to access my FTP and Filezilla told me that my password was invalid. I tried to login and also encountered a password error. When I reset my password, the new password also failed. Hey everyone, I have forgotten my password for my cPanel login. I have recently re-activated my account. When I request a password reset, I am sent an email. In the email I am asked to paste the code into the textbox. However when I paste the code and click proceed, nothing happens. I would very much appreciate some insight into this.

I made a an account on johnny (polders.heliohost.org) but due to some issues I decided it was better to move to the stevie server. My problem: my password on johnny isn't working anymore, I tried resetting the password a couple of times but that fails for me (I'm getting the mail but the two reset links and the keyword aren't working for me). Because of that I cant login nor delete my johnny account. So I made a stevie account (bzub.heliohost.org) and decided to let the johnny account die out in 30 days, but this new stevie account can a ) not add any addon domains (it says I can add (0) domains) b ) not park the domain I want because the wrapper says it's being used by another user (the johnny account?) So I was wondering if you could guide me trough the password reset or delete the johnny account and help me with that domain addon problem on bzub.heliohost.org. Thanks,
