Hestia CP - Install Winter CMS / OctoberCMS - WordPress Alternative

HelioHost! I made this just for you. Honest. And then I got carried away. Clearly. I really need to cut back on the use of

Create a new website domain account in hestia. In this tutorial, I use a freshly minted domain. The only objects under ./public_html when I begin are the so-called skeleton files. That is, the robots.txt and ... whatever. index. fk. brain damage. i have to log out because it stopped making sense.

Composer
create-project
wintercms/winter

 Install WinterCMS (or OctoberCMS)

Use Composer to manage the installation

 install plugins themes etc

 dig this guy's guitar solo

	Enjoy Video
Follow the video located at the link target to learn how to use Composer Create-project to effectively install Winter CMS under a VPS web hosting account which is administered by HESTIA CP / Hestia Control Panel
://hestiacp.com/install

	https://youtu.be/k9qo5p2vKT8

	Packagist
Find some Plugins & Themes
search for winter/wn (click << there )

	Make it Yours:
Learn/ rather master Composer (e.g. what does "dump-autoload" do?)

	from a secure shell,
cd ./public_html
do some stuff like.. `cd ./my_winter_cms`
once you have Composer installed and all that, try something like

`composer require wn-builder-plugin` (that's a guess, btw)

	Good luck!

I recently discovered your YouTube video on installing Node.js apps, and it's an excellent resource. However, the written guide on your website seems a bit outdated in comparison. I'm willing to offer some brief suggestions to help improve the guide's clarity and accuracy, if you're open to it.

Let me know if you're interested, and I'll be glad to assist.

I already donated in the past and have the maxed 2000MB storage, but I think a monthly donation of even $1/month would be more helpful to you guys than the random $5 donations from you sending an email.

With that context, I have a two-pronged question:

Can you add support for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), to eliminate card transaction fees and send money directly from my bank account to Heliohost's bank account?

If not, which of your existing options minimizes fees for you? PayPal takes a 2.2% fee for registered 501(c)(3) organizations, Skrill appears to take a 1.45% fee, and credit cards also have merchant fees, but I don't know which is the lowest fee for you. Cryptocurrency is another option of course, but I'm not sure what fees I'd end up paying to convert my USD to BTC, Aeon, ETN, or XMR and then finally get it transferred to you.

Most of the other 501(c)(3) organizations to which I donate accept EFT, minimizing fees. With family and friends, I use Zelle which has zero fees. I did some googling and I while I have no experience with accepting payments, I chatted with a rep (Danielle) from Host Merchant Services and it sounds like they might be able to help you at low cost. You can get a free quote from https://www.hostmerchantservices.com/lowest-rates. I have no affiliation with them so if you can find another provider with better fees, of course, you should use them instead. But if Host Merchant Services can lower your fees, I'd love to donate through them instead!

Of course, accepting EFT sounds to me like it could be a big task especially considering how few donors you likely have, and if that's the case please let me know and I'll happily send you money using whatever other option is best for you.

Thanks again for providing your wonderful service!

Is there ways to make donations (without) subscribe/have accounts

	Hi

When i go to https://www.heliohost.org/donate i see options as Paypal and Skrillit

When i just for checking "test" point mouse on Paypal i see the link: https://paypal.me/heliohost/ but on Skrillit i see https://www.skrill.com/skrillit/?locale=en-us . So by comparing i see on one hand an url with the word "Heliohost" on the other hand "i dont see the word" (heliohost). Wich at some point could question the peoples that would like to make some donations, because on one hand it is writen "Heliohost" and the other "no url heliohost".

Seem that both services require to create or have some account linked to the user money. So if there is some security issue (linked to the company "or" security issue of the users), then some bad intents of some peoples could access the user money. I suggest that you would add some other company to donate, that (dont need create/have accounts) to make some donations. Maybe GoFundMe (dont know how it work) or some others.

When you advertise that you can host WordPress then you can attract more visitors and donations. I know you advertise Softaculous, but not everybody knows what softaculous is, but a lot of people know what WordPress is. I know that there is a thread saying to advertise site publisher, but WordPress is WAYYYYYY BETTER than cPanel site publisher with better features. A suggestion what it should look like is in the attached file.

Whitelist Heliohost In Your Adblocker
