  3. Hi, When johnny was closed down a few weeks ago we were offered to make a backup of the site data etc. I made such a backup copy and saved it locally. After the johnny account was restored today I went to Plesk to upload the backup file created, but Plesk simply states "this was created with an older version of plesk..." and refuses to import the data. (no pw used for the backup, it is a simple .tar) What to do? Thank you for you hard work šŸ™

  15. Hello, Regarding Johnny's recent reset, the support team has stated that MySQL databases are sometimes not fully recoverable in a standard .sql format. This is usually why they might be missing from the regular backup files you downloaded. However, the raw server files (such as .frm and .ibd table structures) might still be stored on the server's backend. If you know the exact names of your old databases, please reply with them here. A Root Administrator can check the system to see if those raw files are available for you. Let's keep this thread open for an admin to look into your files!

  18. We're not sure what you're asking here. If you mean you want to restore a backup you have on your computer, you have to unpack it and restore the files. Depending on the format, it will either be a plain tar.gz file (which you can open with something like 7zip and upload the files inside), or a plesk backup (see here for instructions to unpack that and get the files and databases). There is no way automatically import a user-provided backup.

  23. Sorry if the mail used needs replacing: Sure enough https://heliohost.org/status/?u=milano keeps telling me "That account is awaiting validation... Resend" without any mail coming, but when using for parameter "u" the mail address now out of favor instead: "That account has been backed up and then taken offline due to inactivity." I got a backup tarball this way, from 2024 though. So if you can enable the account for long enough to change the mail address, I'll be happy to do so.
